Maximizing space and improving logistics management
One key to ensuring efficient and sustainable supply chains is using robust and reusable Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs). These packaging solutions provide manufacturers and shippers with optimized storage to maximize capacity throughput and thereby savings on the cost. Furthermore, the need to deliver payloads across multiple transportation modes safely and securely is a key challenge. Traditional packaging including pallets, drums and wooden or cardboard boxes are not only less durable, risking payload damage and contamination, but are also single-use and one-way, making them expensive and unsustainable.
Our fleet of reusable metal MB5 IBCs is the ideal fit in this situation and is extensively used in a variety of industries ranging from rubber and food & beverage to automotive components and chemicals, as the preferred industry standard.
Versatility, durability and sustainability
Our reusable metal container, the MB5, sports a robust design and provides easy handling with four-way forklift entry points and one detachable sidewall. When shipping MB5 containers in sea containers, they efficiently fill the space, leaving only a couple of centimeters of room. These characteristics make it perfect for storing and transporting a wide range of goods in trucks and sea containers.
The MB5 container can be stacked 5 high when laden in storage, allowing businesses to significantly improve inventory capacity and save on the warehouse space. Constructed to ensure efficient protection against shocks, rough handling and contamination, the MB5 is safe and easy to both assemble and disassemble in seconds.
Also, as there is no need to dispose of costly packaging waste or excessive dunnage, the MB5 is a more environmentally sustainable solution that reduces total cost of ownership.
16 Goodpack MB5 containers fit perfectly in a 20 ft sea container
Our MB5 has a proven and documented lower carbon footprint than most disposable and returnable packaging today, thanks to the long lifespan and Goodpack’s network density, which allows for swift return of “empties” after use. Reducing carbon footprint and enabling efficient, safe, and environmentally sustainable supply chains helps our customers save cost, improve their operations and meet their ESG goals.
The MB5 serves as the multi-industry standard solution for Goodpack customers worldwide because of its adaptability, toughness and efficient design. Today, it comprises one of Goodpack’s major fleets, and continues to prove ideal for transporting many different payloads.
